What I didn&rsquo;t write about the quality of the callback and how processing the notes changes from digital vs analog.</p> <p>I went on a long journey to figure out both. For years, I switched back and forth between the two and here is what I found stood out.</p> <h2 id="what-is-_actually_-the-difference">What is <em>actually</em> the difference</h2> <p>Visibility and linear progression. Even though, in Obsidian, I use the daily notes plugin, the PARA method, and a very simplistic folder structure when it comes to tracking tasks for projects, I would still not be able to, as easily, go through notes from a previous day, as I do with my notebook.</p>
